Can you provide us with references of recent clients?
May we contact them? We will provide you with names, telephone numbers
(and email addresses where available) of satisfied clients for whom
we have provided entertainment at events similar to yours. References
are all from recent events, all performed within the past six months.
They have all given us permission to release their information to
you. You are encouraged to contact them to find out first hand about
the services provided by Coastline Music.
2. Do you use professional audio equipment?
Coastline Music DJ's use only state of the art professional
audio equipment for superior sound quality. We proudly use Sennheiser
wireless microphones and JBL Speakers. You will hear the difference
these outstanding products bring to the sound quality of your event!
3. Will you take requests?
We encourage requests for this reason: There's a world of music out
there,while we may have an excellent idea of the type of music you
might like to hear, you and your guests know exactly what you want
to hear! Why not play it? Depending upon the type of event however,
we will not play certain songs which contain questionable lyrical
content.
4. Do you carry back up gear in case of equipment failure?
The professional audio equipment we use is very reliable,
but like all other mechanical equipment it can break down. Coastline
Music DJ's carry back up CD players and powered mixers to every event
to be used in case of an emergency. In the extremely unlikely event
of equipment failure, we will be prepared to use our back up gear
so your event can continue!
5. Do you have liability insurance?
For our security and for your peace of mind, Coastline Music carries
liability insurance in case of accidents involving our DJ's and/or
our equipment. Although incidents involving injury are very, very
rare, we believe that insurance is a must and we are prepared to show
proof of our insurance upon request.
6. Will you provide us with a list
of your music selections?
We provide all of our clients with a sample list of the music in our
extensive library. This list contains all of the popular dance music
from the 1940's right up to today's popular music. We encourage our
clients to select the music they would like to hear from this list
and to list here the music they DON'T want to hear so that we don't
play a selection that is not to their taste. It's your event, we want
to play the music you like to hear and we won't play any music you
specifically ask not to be played.
What are our Rates?
Coastline Music believes every event is unique. While we specialize
in Elegant (and fun!) weddings, we also provide entertainment for
Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, Fund raisers etc. And just
as every event is unique, so are the client's needs. For this reason,
our rates will vary depending upon the client's requirements and the
date and time of the event. Thus, a wedding on a Saturday evening
will be priced differently than a midweek fundraising dinner. We think
you will find that while our prices are not the cheapest, they aren't
the most expensive either. In order to give you an accurate rate quote,
we suggest you call our office and discuss your event in detail.
How Soon Should We Book our DJ?
After you have chosen the venue for your event, consider hiring your
DJ. Avoid disappointment. Many of the prime dates are reserved up
to one year in advance. We recommend you book as soon as possible.
